• Age 6
    The lessons for six-year-olds are based on the New Testament and gently introduce children to a loving, caring, healing, all-powerful, and wise God. These lessons fill children’s hearts with a sense of safety and acceptance, help them feel God’s love, and grow a sincere love for God and His Word, for their parents, and for the Church.
Welcome! We are happy to introduce our program for children ages 6–7!
  • What we will talk about in our lessons:
    At the beginning of the year, we will: 
    • Review the days of creation 
    • Learn about the lives of the first people on earth 
    • Thank God for creating us and for preparing a beautiful Heavenly City for us 
    Then we will: 
    • Learn about the beginning of God’s plan of salvation: the birth and childhood of Jesus 
    • Learn from Jesus obedience, kindness, and diligence 
    Sections three through six focus on the work of Jesus:
    • We will learn that Jesus is the best Doctor 
    • He is all-powerful and can do amazing miracles 
    • He makes our hearts clean and kind 
    • He is also the best Teacher in the world and teaches us how to live a happy life
  • What else children will do in class: 
    • Learn how to hold a pencil and color 
    • Work with scissors and glue to make beautiful cut-and-paste crafts 
    • Use modeling clay to shape and build different figures 
    • Learn songs and memory verses 
    • Do simple exercises and play active games
