In our lessons, we will learn:
At the beginning of the year, we briefly review the Bible periods—from the calling of the Patriarchs to God’s people settling in the Promised Land.
Then we continue exploring the great plan of our Heavenly Father, lovingly designed to restore us to a beautiful and everlasting life with Him in Heaven. Here are the sections:
1. The Judges of Israel
God, just as He promised Abraham, settled his descendants in a beautiful land and blessed their lives. We study the stories of five Judges of Israel.
2. The United Kingdom
The people asked God for a king, and we learn about the lives of the first kings—Saul, David, and Solomon.
3. The Divided Kingdom
When the kingdom split into two parts, we learn inspiring stories about Kings Uzziah and Josiah, who became kings when they were still boys (around 7–8 years old). By listening to wise priests, they were blessed and successful.
4. The Babylonian Exile
Together with the children, we learn to be faithful and brave like Daniel, Azariah, Hananiah, and Mishael.
5. The Return from Exile
This section helps us value our loving Christian family and our spiritual home.
As we walk through the pages of the Bible and highlight its historical periods, we want Bible events to stay in children’s hearts in the right order. We want children to understand that the Bible is a letter from God, where He shares His plan and invites us to join Him in His work.
