• Age 9
This program includes Bible stories from both the Old and New Testaments. Children ages 9–10 are ready to discover the invisible God. They are curious about everything new, unknown, and mysterious. They dream of becoming heroes, accomplishing great deeds, and making important discoveries.
That is why the first section is devoted to the life and ministry of the great Old Testament prophets Elijah and Elisha.

The second section reminds children of the miracle of Christmas and the growing years of the Son of God, leading into the main spiritual themes of the year: “Jesus Introduces Us to the Heavenly Father” and “The Sacrifice of Our Salvation at Golgotha.”
Children discover the character of the Heavenly Father, learn how to build a personal relationship with Him, and begin to understand the meaning of Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross.
Welcome! We are happy to introduce our program for children ages 9–10!
  • In our lessons, we will learn:
    Section 1
The Life and Ministry of the Great Old Testament Prophets Elijah and Elisha
These powerful stories teach us to trust in the almighty power of our Heavenly Father and inspire us to desire that God’s power would work just as strongly in our own lives.

    Section 2
The Growth of Jesus and the Beginning of His Ministry on Earth
    • About the Son of God growing up among people
    • About His first steps in ministry
    • About His wise teaching, filled with love for us
    Section 3
Jesus Introduces Us to the Heavenly Father
These stories from Jesus’ life reveal the heart of our Heavenly Father. Jesus said, “Whoever has seen Me has seen the Father.”
In these lessons, children learn that the Heavenly Father is close to every heart:
He loves, He cares, He listens, He desires a relationship, He is all-powerful, and He lovingly invites us to choose obedience.

    Section 4
The Sacrifice of Jesus Christ. The Establishment of the New Covenant
We step into the final days of Jesus’ earthly life and seek to understand the great mercy shown to us by the Heavenly Father—allowing His only Son to pay the price for our sins. We also discover the great blessing we receive by entering into a covenant with the Heavenly Father through His Son.

As we journey through the pages of the Bible, we come to know God, learn to communicate with Him, and reflect on our future.
